EPISODE70 - Talking 80s Music with Martin Hennessy

This week we do something completely different. We will be focused on a prominent disease that is inextricably tied to the decade... AIDS. We talked to a fellow 80s fan, Danielle, who will be participating in the AIDS Walk of New York 2008 on May 18th. We sponsored her walk and, if you would like to do the same, more information will be given during the show. (We also urged her to scream "I love the 80s!" as she crosses the finish-line. We will feature music (Eazy-E's "Eazy-er Said Then Dun," Sylvester and Patrick Cowley's "Menergy," Ratt's "You're In Love" and Ofra Haza's "Im Nin Alu") by several artists that lost their battles with the disease.

This was a very difficult episode to get through but hopefully it was educational and worth the effort. Take a moment and talk to a young family member about AIDS.
