EPISODE81 - Talking 80s Music with Martin Hennessy

We had to take a quick detour from our schedule this week. Always happens when we plan too far ahead. We will be featuring songs ("International Bullet Proof Talent" and "Too Much 21st Century") from their new and final album, Go Away White. We will also play a personal favorite, "In The Flat Field," and one of our retrospective edits. Looking back, they have a great history and are one of those root bands... meaning that several important acts were off-shoots and I know we will be visit them in the future.

We tested out some new software this week... oddly enough just like last week. This is a new recording program called Pamela. We had an earlier version of it and it had some issues when taking calls live during the show. Now, we've implemented new versions of Skype and Pamela. It seems to have fixed the issue but it'll bear more testing. The earlier problems would mix audio out of order so we had to resort to using a lower quality audio for conversations with callers. We'll really test this heavily on the 26th as we hope to set a record for most calls we've received in one episode. We have our fingers crossed that we can focus on the Pat Benatar episode next week. If not, we may move on to Toyah... (you have to have contingency plans.)
