EPISODE92 - Talking 80s Music with Martin Hennessy

This week we celebrated the U.K. release of the Blow Monkey's reunion album, Devil's Tavern, with one of our retrospective single clip mixes as well as a few songs ("I Nearly Died Laughing," "Trashtown Incident" and "In Too Deep") from their double-disc collection, Digging Your Scene: The Best Of The Blow Monkeys. Just listening to the songs (which come from their first 3 studio albums), you can hear the evolution in lyricism, songwriting and production. Most of you will remember them for their hit single, "Digging Your Scene," but we hope that this leaves you with a better idea of who they are, what they've done and where they are heading with the new album. Feel free to prime yourself by listening to episode 34 (on which we featured Dr. Robert's solo work.)

We also announced that we will be starting a new project on Twitter. Each weekday, we will post a question of the day (or QOTD). If you send replies, we will collect them and mention them before the next QOTD. If anything, it will give us a better idea of where you are coming from and what you have on your minds when it comes to 80s music. You can find our Twitter account at:
