EPISODE95 - Talking 80s Music with Martin Hennessy

This week on Talking 80s Music, we had our first two-fer episode. Meaning, we featured songs by Juliana Hatfield ("Shining On" and "This Lonely Love" featuring Richard Butler) from her new album, How To Walk Away, and Curiosity Killed The Cat ("Misfit" and "Name And Number" by Element vs Ben VP.) Two different countries, two different styles and for some reason we just couldn't say no to a possible train wreck of musical styles. All joking aside, it went better than we expected and it gave us a chance to highlight some new music out there that isn't getting a lot of airplay.

Our testing of Stickam for video went pretty well and we will continue to make adjustments to see if it will come in handy. One possible problem is that we record our live audio through a USB mic and the webcam has its own microphone. We don't want to mess up the audio for the show by having more than one audio stream (as we have seen that problem during our call-in guests) but know that watching without sound is less entertaining. We will keep trying.
