Ever heard of the Rembrandts? No they aren't an 80s act but half the duo, Danny Wilde, was. Wilde will be our featured artist this week and we expect to play his 1986 hit songs ("Isn't It Enough" and "Body To Body") as well as "Like A River" and "California Sunshine" (from his 1989 self-titled effort.) Sometimes all the work as a singer/songwriter does pays off and, if anyone paid his dues and deserves his later success, it is him. We whole-heartedly urge you to investigate Danny Wilde's other recordings before and after these starting with his Web site.
Weird technical issue appeared as we started the show (seems that I get to gripe about some technological failing at the end of each episode) that had us with no audio. Not a good thing for a show like ours. Fixed it just a few minutes after we normally start. Anyhow, since we launched our new Facebook application (80s Music Icons), we knew that we would like to keep adding at least two artists on there per month. So, during the show, we asked the last person left in the chat room for their two choices to add to the application page... expect the Human League and Depeche Mode to go up there in the next day or so. I can't wait to see how many acts it takes to hit the maximum... we're gonna try to take it as far as possible.
