EPISODE118 - Talking 80s Music with Martin Hennessy

This week we checked in with the Dream Weaver himself, Gary Wright. We talked about his hits, his sound and a little about his work during the 1980s and now. We featured a retrospective mix and samples of songs (the new version of "Love Is Alive" and "Silent Choirs Of Snowflakes") off his latest releases -- The Light Of A Million Suns and Waiting To Catch The Light. (We can't recommend the former enough as it earned a 4.5 out of 5 in a recent review at 80s Music Central.) Want to check out his work before hearing the show? Check out his site,

We discovered the chat room issue we were having last week. It seems that if someone hits Shift and Enter at the same time in the room... things go wacky. Hope they fix this as it becomes hard to keep up with conversations and interact with the listeners. The success of the 80s Music Icons Facebook application is heartwarming. Fans for Motley Crue, Duran Duran, Neil Diamond and Madonna are meeting the challenge of keeping their favorite artists on top. Recently added Aerosmith, Cyndi Lauper and AC/DC... should be interesting where they wind up next week.
